Launch the Startup Ecosystem program

The first online conference was organized to launch the Startup Ecosystem program, implemented by the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan with the support of two projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Turkmenistan, Enriching Youth for Tomorrow and Future Growth Initiative.
The online event, organized via Zoom platform, brought together young entrepreneurs – program participants, organizers, experts, representatives of mentoring companies, and alumni of similar programs from other countries.
The online conference was opened by the chairman of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, Yuriy Aronskiy. Participants were also greeted by USAID Turkmenistan Program Management Specialist Serdar Yagmurov, JA Worldwide COO Caroline Jenner, Chief of Party of USAID’s Future Growth Initiative Philip Stoyanovich, and Chief of Party of USAID Enriching Youth for Tomorrow Project in Turkmenistan Ayna Bayramova. The heads of mentoring companies, who are recognized authorities in the field of consulting, training, and ICT technologies, who decided to try themselves in the role of mentoring companies, presented their activities and vision of the program. Participants and alumni of start-up creation and development programs from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan shared their impressions and experiences.
Having shared their experience, the organizers and mentors congratulated start-up entrepreneurs and wished them success in further implementation of start-up projects. In the process of participating in the program, young entrepreneurs will be able to use the knowledge and experience of experts from Turkmenistan and other countries who have achieved success in promoting innovative businesses domestically and abroad.
